Glen Reilly Receives Hall Of Fame Accolade

Glenn Reilly received his Hall of Fame certificate at a special presentation before the Cardiff - Edinburgh Elite League game.

Glen Reilly started his playing career with Murrayfield Royals and totaled 18 seasons with the famous club only broken by a season with Ayr Rangers in 1963 and a season with Fife Flyers in 1964. Glen guested for Brighton Tigers in 1963 on a tour of Austria, Germany & Italy and played for Great Britain in Finland at the 1965 World Championships and for Great Britain in Yugoslavia in the 1966 World Championships alongside players like Red Imrie, Billy Brennan and Hep Tindale. During his career Glen played a number of internationals for Scotland and he gives credit to coach John Carlyle as a major influence on his playing career. Once he hung up his stick, Glen turned to officiating and refereed from 1976 to 1995.
