Footnote: James Robertson Justice became a celebrated film actor in the 1950s. He played ice hockey briefly in the early '30's - goaltender for London Lions during 1931/32 season. Then refereed before serving as assistant secretary to the BIHA for a year or so. He was born in Wigtown, Scotland in 1905, full name - James Norval Harald Robertson-Justice. He also held a PhD degree i.e. a real Doctor. Died on 2/7/1975 at Stockbridge in Hampshire. |
